Privacy Notice

Draft for soft launch. Counsel review recommended before public marketing. Last updated: 2026-07-24.

Who this notice is for

This notice explains how Datience (“we,” “us”) handles information when you use the VisitsInPoly website and place an Order. It is about you as a buyer / site user — your email, order details, and related account-free checkout data.

It is not a privacy policy for the mobile end users whose opt-in location signals feed our underlying data partners. Those people are not our VisitsInPoly customers; their data is governed by the partners’ notices and consent practices. What you receive in traffic.csv is described in our Terms of Use (pseudonymized visit rows for your polygon and dates).

What we collect

When you use the site or check out, we typically process:

We do not ask you for a password account. We do not store your full card number on our systems.

Payments (Stripe)

Card payments are handled by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe collects and processes payment details (card data, billing address as required for tax/fraud, and related transaction information) under Stripe’s own terms and privacy notice. We receive payment outcomes we need to run the Order — for example paid/unpaid status, amounts, tax line items, and payment references — not your full card number.

For how Stripe uses payment data, see Stripe’s privacy materials. Applicable sales tax may be calculated at checkout based on location information collected for that purpose.

How we use buyer information

We do not sell your email address as a marketing list. We do not use your Order email for unrelated third-party advertising.

Service providers we use

We use trusted vendors under our direction to operate VisitsInPoly — for example cloud hosting, databases, file storage, job processing, and transactional email. They process buyer and Order information only as needed to provide those services to us. Except for Stripe (payments), you generally deal with Datience, not those vendors, for privacy questions about your Order.

Foot-traffic results (what the CSV is)

Order results are derived from opt-in mobile location data supplied through our data partners. The deliverable includes pseudonymized device identifiers and visit attributes for the area and dates you purchased — not your personal identity as the buyer, and not raw advertising ids for those devices. How you may use that file is limited by the Terms of Use (including re-identification bans).

Sharing

We share buyer-related information only as needed to operate VisitsInPoly, for example:

Retention

Unused quotes expire after a short period. Paid Order records and result files are kept as needed to fulfill the Order, provide status and downloads for a limited time, meet tax and accounting needs, and handle disputes. Download links expire; we do not promise indefinite online storage of every file. You should download and store your results while links are valid.

Security

We use standard industry practices to protect Order data in transit and at rest, and secret links for status and downloads. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Protect your status links and result files as you would other confidential business files.

Your choices

We do not keep a password account or lasting user profile. To delete your buyer contact data, email web.support@datienceiq.com from (or clearly identifying) the address you used at checkout. We will remove that email from our Order records and invalidate status links tied to those Orders. We may keep non-identifying Order and payment details (for example amounts, dates, and status) for tax, accounting, and fraud prevention. Result files are foot-traffic deliverables about devices in your polygon, not a profile of you — removing your email does not by itself delete those files.

Children

VisitsInPoly is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect buyer information from children.

Changes

We may update this notice by posting a new version on this page and changing the “Last updated” date. Material changes for ongoing use of the site will appear here.
